| Non splined axle?
Does anyone make a non-splined (at the wheel end) axle? So you could avoid using the Tamiya splined hex.

I guess not. I machined the splines off the stock axles, making it a 5mm shaft, then drilled for a 2mm drive pin.

Thunder tech/mip made CVD that didn`t use the brass splined hex hub.But rc4wd makes XVD with metal hex hubs RC4WD Extreme Duty XVD for Clodbuster Axle |

I'm making a sprocket to fit the axle so I can mount snow tracks. Getting around the splined shaft makes it a lot easier.
