what do U think of the koyote crawler

Well my clod base crawler has been in the works for about a year, I've even talked to our local race track (RCRE) about setting up a rock crawling course next year as there is not a lot of places to crawl around. So here is a list of what I have, I'm still waiting for my chassis, should be here next week I hope. I thinking about a 14" WB.

CLod axles (locked, shaved and bearings)
NN Chassis
Integy 65t motors x2
Du-mor 7 tooth pinions x2
thundertech motor mounts
T-maxx shocks (stock 4 now)
Tekin Rebal 2 ESC
Hitec HS-5645MG x2
Proline Mashers
HPI Super Stars 2.2 rims (narrowed, foams cut died black)
JR XS3 Synthesized 3 channel radio
Ni-MH 3800 mAh battery
Pics to follow once I have everything together"thumbsup"

65t and 7t pinions? You'll find that to be far too slow. Unless you runit on 8 cells or something, even then it might be too slow.

I agree, I'm running 55t with 9tooth x2 and the top speed is a fast walk almost jog. It's enough to spin the tires on take off and to give that extra bump to get me over, but slow enough to do a technical course.

65 with 7's you could definatley pull something."thumbsup"

Well I will give it a try, One of my LHS had them hanging on the wall. They said they had them for years, so I got the for 5$ CND. If they are to slow I will try a 45t or I will just order some 8 or 9 tooth."thumbsup"

I will post pics once my NN chassis gets here from the crawler store. All I have is my axles and a bunch of parts.:)

"what do U think of the koyote crawler?"

I think it "sounds" like almost every clod I've ever seen.

Sounds like ya need some more seal oil for the lamp there... I had that problem, too... I can recommend a good seal oil dealer if ya need... I think they have branches in AB as well...
