Default K2-3S Clod

So I had nothing to do last night and I haven't been that impressed with my Rock Bull Chassis II so far so I decided that I would put my clod super stuff on the K2-3S Chassis I had laying around.
As far as I can tell I might be the first to try it but maybe not. In any case here's some pics. I'm going to try it out and might end up lengthening the wheelbase some because right now it is only 15". I also have some standard size masher 2000s I might put on but for now this is how it looks.

Articulation isn't quite as good as it was, about 50 degrees but I also thought the 70 I had before was a little much.

Looks good. 50 degrees is more than enough articulation!

I'm always impressed how good these clod trucks look and seem to perform using what started out as TLT chassis.

Nice work there.

I would possibly lengthen it a little. Saying that, give it a try and see how it performs.

Well I'm glad I'm not too crazy and this might actually work. I'm going to have a chance to try it out in about an hour so I guess I will see how it goes. I think I will probably lengthen it but I like the look for now.

Did you try to use the orignal upper link mounts on the chassis? How do think it would preform with using the orignal link mounts or they to close to each other.

I tried to use the original upper link mounts and will probably try that again later but my link lengths were not right for that so I decided to mount them higher because it effectively lengthened the upper links. If I ended up lengthening it I will try to mount it on the lower mounts. Also I tried to mount the shocks without the towers but it ended up being too tall.

Where would you suggest I mount the battery and what type of battery should I get. I would like to do something different but I don't know exactly what would be best.

If anyone has battery placement suggestions please let me know. I am thinking a hump pack style battery mounted in the center but I am not sure. Pictures would help a ton.
