narrow the wheels on both sides and don't use wideners.

Start with running Tamiya Dark Impact wheels. Either the wide or narrow, I'd shoot for the narrow version. They have the perfect offset for running a 2.2 tire on a Clod and trying to get it under the 12.5" width. Wide Dark Impact wheels, MIP CVD's and alumininum knuckles.... Just under 12.5"....

The SD2.2 has Electric Pede fronts narrowed to 1.25" (outer bead only) and it is under 12.5" wide even with the Red Rocks.

Well I thank you all for all the advice. But unfortunately I narrowed both sides and im at just under 12.75 so I dont know what im gonna do for the competition. On the 3rd, I guess ill have to get some more wheels and probably tires cause I dont want to pull the tires off again.

These are already narrowed wit hperfect backspacing for a 2.2 clod, and got mine down to 12" with red rocks and 11.75" with mashers. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXLV90&P=7 |
