It's not Ray's fault, that's the way I had always imagined them. I run internal springs on my mini-t that have the spring holding up the piston.

I like the looks of the Hustler... What kind of pricing?

What is the logic behind the shock system? This is the first i have heard of the setup/

Most of the competitive 1:1 crawlers run almost 0 uptravel, all down travel. This keeps your center of gravity very low, still allows the rig to flex, but then when you belly up on something you've got a ton of ground clearance because the axles can droop out.

If done right, and controlled well it works awesome.

What happens when the rig is going up a steep incline? Won't it tend to lean back and cause a roll over?

BTW, I love the chassis. I saw Ray's last weekend and the 'bluing' effect is too cool.

Does that chassis meet the 2007 tuber requirements for length. It looks very similar to mine and Im 1.5" short. Just hard to tell in a pic.

This is what takes some dialing in. With the correct springs, and the correct oil you can fix that.

That is very interesting. How does it handle an extreme sidehill? I would imagine the uphill wheels would unload and the rig would still roll, maybe roll over easier? Am I off-base?

I don't have the measurements of my Hustler right here with me, but I do know that it does meet the rules.

The price for the chassis which includes, tig welded gun blued chassis, lexan body panels, upper link mounts, suspension links, steering links, and internal shock springs is $329.99.

If you would like to purchase a roller which will include everything listed above plus a complete set of new clod axles, shocks, Axial Racing beadlock wheels (your choice of what we have available color and style wise), Bender Customs 12-17mm adapters, and a set of Moab XL tires is going to be $595.99. An incredible deal for everything that is included!

If you want the Axial wheels pre-narrowed add $25 to the above price.

This is the first I have posted the price in public. Not many of the first batch left so if any of you want one right away you may want to shoot me a pm or e-mail real quick like.

Friggin sweet, the colors look great greg.

I've been watching the first two run for several months now and am very impressed with the performance. Bastard is currently second in the Super class with his.

x2

I never thought a tuber could be comp worthy in the Super Class, but I was proven wrong big time.

Nice looking rig Greg, flat black never goes out of style.

Forgive the n00b question (I rarely am in the clod section until now)... What constitutes a Super (dimensions etc?) I am switching from 2.2 for a change of pace so Supers are new to me. The stickies didn't have a whole lot to say about the size of things. About the only thing I have seen is a wheelbase of 16 or 17"... Is that about it?

I think I even once said that a tuber would never be comp worthy.
