Thanks for the link... Not sure why I didn't find it. If you would indulge one or two more off-topic questions, I would be most obliged.

1. What wheelbase do most use? I have seen many 16 and 17"...

2. Does everyone run 4ws in their supers?

I lied, 3. I see the Moab XL's are very common, is there another tire I should also look at that is similar?

4. What wheels should I go with. I need to be economical and durable.

16-18 inches is common. 17 would be a good compromise.

Yes

40 series Mashers are also a great tire.

Try a set of Pro line 40 series Maxx wheels. The Maxx adaptors are a little less expensive than the 23mm adaptors.

16" used to be the norm, I think it's moving more towards 17 now.

In the superclass you pretty much have to if you want any chance of being compeitive.

Moab xl's, Moabs, Mashers, seem to be the most used.

Thanks so much. Glad I happened onto this thread, everyone was most helpful (really quite shocked actually, not like the flame wars that sometimes pop up in 2.2). I am still negotiating a trade for a clod crawler, I hope it works out. Looks like a decent start.

Now back to your Hustler peeping. Keep the tissue close.

my previous chassis before the hustler was a carbon fiber NN. very capable when it's tuned properly. i had great success with it. like jason said, the super class rigs tend to be moving towards a 17" wb. i had my NN set-up with moab xl's and a 17" wb, same as the hustler.

I want a 2.2 Hustler That uses TLT axles. I think that would be sick.
