Thumbs up Custom Crawlerz Clodbuster Conversion

Hello all,

I have made some changes to my Custom Crawlerz "Silver Ghost" Clodbuster over the years, and figured I would make a post of its different forms.

We first have it in its Welded Steel Frame Days

Then we have it in its Brass Tube Frame Days

And now we have it in its current state, with the all NEW Custom Crawlerz PRO Crawler Frame

Here is a Clodbuster with 4" frame spacers and only a 12" wheelbase.. Just to show the frame doesn't look super tiny on a normal Clod build.

In its current state, it does look very small with the large Clod axles on it.. But I do plan to mount a body to the frame and probably lower it down. I swapped over the entire setup from the other truck frame and didn't make new links yet. The frames do look better with smaller tires and axles on them by themselves. Down the road I will design some larger ones. But for now, this is what I have available..

The last picture of the truck above only had 2.5" frame spacers on it... And is sitting at around a 16" wheelbase

I have converted 2 clods over to our NEW PRO Crawler Frames running 4" spacers, and they look far more scale. My "Silver Ghost" Clod "above" has a long wheelbase (around 16")

This one is still using the exact Frame Plate set, but as you can see it doesn't look as huge for the frame size. This truck has about a 12" wheelbase but running 4" frame spacers.

I am unfamiliar with that design.. Just tried to google it but didn't come up with much. Either way, I designed ours in CAD myself.. I had looked at a few different frame designs over the years and drew something up that I felt would be a good all around chassis. So far, I am happy with the design, besides in future runs I will probably add in more mounting holes just for more options for customers..

Thank you.. I drew it up in CAD after looking at a bunch of different frame pictures, making it my own.. I wanted to etch My logo into them, but that would have increased the end price, so opted to go without it..

Well, they are still there.. Or order one through the web store.. There you can get more spacers if wanted from the order page..

Not your design. I never gave you permission to make my design and you certainly didnt create it in cad a year and a half ago since I created it in cad in 2010.
