Default Garage sale gold

My mom scored this for me at a garage sale a few weeks back, said if it didnt work that my 2 year old could push it around. Never owned a clod before but this one is a keeper for me. Gunna rock the vintage electronics till they crap out, pretty nice airtronics tx/rx, super rooster and kyosho 22t motors. And an airtronics servo, that if the online spec sheet is to be trusted has a drag link bending 36 in/oz of tourque. Still overpowers the servo savers lol.

Awesome find! Those Kyosho motors are fantastic, both in clods and crawlers.

Man... what a find. I've never seen any gold in any garage sale I've gone to.

Sweet find. Hope you don’t plan to use it and enjoy it though... I had a friend give me one or the original ‘87 models like that one. I took it all apart; cleaned, lubed, adjusted, painted, the whole nine. Went to use it in the backyard, not bash it, just run it, hit a bump, NOT a jump and broke the front axle spindle. Fixed that with new parts. Immediately broke the rear axle spindle next and the steering pivot. The original plastic is so brittle now unless you want to buy all “new” parts or metal upgrades, just keep in on the shelf and enjoy the nostalgia. Just my unsolicited 3 cents.

I had the same issues with mine luckly the pladtic parts are very cheap i replaced almost every pice of plastic on the rig but i did it slowly over 3 years i have 2 running clods one a go fast track race clod and a stockish scalerish crawler clod i can say the new parts arent nerly as brittle as the old parts i havent broken any of the new plastic parts yet on ether rig so run the hay out.of it and replace what breaks
