funny you should ask b/c I just fixed that earlier, I was having trouble seeing how it was going to clear so I built it on the axle with the bumper and I realized how it is supposed to go.

I got the wheels done today, used a 30 minute epoxy and some fiberglass cloth cut into strips and wrapped around the inside of the wheel. It seems pretty strong, my arm is hurting from tightening all those damn screws lol.

All right, got the wheels mounted up.. I found some OFNA 15mm offset hexes to work with the axials, I ground them down a little so i could get the bolt on the outside, now I'm going to drill them through the axle and bolt them on to prevent them from just spinning on the axle. I went back to the stiff springs, the oranges were just too soft.

S/C is on the way, when that gets here I will solder on a mounting plate and then disassemble the truck to go for powder coat, should be done in the next few weeks, probably just RWD until I can get the internals for the front axle but that shouldn't be too long.

Heres the pics :

OK got the rear motor hooked up, made the windows, and the side panels. For all the panels I used strips of magnets all the way around the outside, they all seem to hold up well except the big square one under the windows. I like the look better than a bunch of zip ties everywhere. I still need to get the guts for the front axle, I was able to drive it around but 2WD doesn't work too well. Hopefully I can get that stuff pretty soon, after all that it will be 100% complete. Thinking of changing the panel colors maybe .... IDK.

One other thing to put on it .... Its getting a rebel flag roof panel ;)

Im loving these magnetic body panels. They work great. I had to take out the large square one under the windows b/c it didnt hold well ... all the others are working fine, makes it really easy to access battery and stuff b/c you can just slide it out and then right back in. Look 100X better than a bunch of zip ties too!!
