Default Torsion Vette 11

Team NRC took a roadtrip on 1/1/07 up to FOTO (TSC comp) . it was 2.2 only but Kamikaze and me took the supers to beat on and that we did . I cost me a Super Rooster , broke backbone, busted axle tube , bent axle & trashed the body . so my Vette gets a total rebuild !! new 17" backbone (Torsion) , new 40s Moabs and Velocity 6 wheels (Narrowed) new lathe motors , Mamba Max esc , new wire , trac gears , 4 channel hitec rx/tx & 1/4 scales ... only thing that is being reused is the axle cases and axle stays to the backbone . I hope it works as well as my old rig . think the only thing I like is a 2nd set of wheel adapters so I can run the new wheels/tires . anyway on to some pics ............. before pic after

You wil really like the mamba max it just about has unlimited tunning abilites.I especially like the punch control.I think i am running it at about 30 precent it sure makes it smooth.I also made the first half of the foward and reverse curve a little flat.It helps keep things slow and to keep you from really throwing the wheelspeed to it untill you really push on the sticks. It just makes for a alround more controlable crawl.

Yep, your gonna love the mamba max. I always enjoy seein the Hustler its what inspired me to create the Purple pimp. These torsion rigs are fantastic for comps. I may have to look into car bodies myself, anything but a bug.

has any one had trouble setup the mamba max on your PC ? I not sure if the usb cable is bad , or if I'm not smart enough to do it . with the help of a friend we set it by manual programming it . that $ucks tring to count the beeps/flashes . made me miss my old super rooster . but after running it , it is very smoth .

No problem what so ever. Evan used it in the field on my vaio while testin. The program should see the MM as soon as you plug the USB in your comp. I decided to try a car body on my torsion, looks nice.

well I played around with duel ESCs (Moped) just to see if I liked them . done ok at the last comp . but the reverse delay was killing me and not having a drag brake after have one sucked . so I ended up getting 2 new Rooster crawlers . I have ran it around the house I'm loving them . the drag brake work great both foward and reverse . got a comp this weekend will see how they do . from what the weather man said it willbe right at 100 ders . that will test them good .
