Default Finally Done

Well after lurking in the shadows of this BB for quite some time I have actually finished my project. Well when I say finished I mean driveable, because I have a lot more to do. There are obvious things like body, finishing soldering the wiring etc...
jb welded clod axles
55t motors
LRP esc
40 series tires/wheels.
homemade links

Check it out and please give me some constructive criticism because this is my first crawler.

move your steering tie rod to the top of the knuckle arms for more clearance.
theres some thing off about the chassis setup too but i cant put my finger on it. looks too tall, and its lop sided or something, ill have to look at the pics more to figure it out

Like stang killa ss mentioned, move your links above the knuckles. Looks like you already bent the LH ball end in pic 4. Raising them up will give you more aproach clearance. Might want to re-examine the shock mounts also, looks like the fronts are too limited. Just my 2 bits.

It's the links...they look like they are mounted at different locations front and back. That's throwing off the shocks at the same time.

FINALLY DONE ?????

Move the shock location on your chassis further up, to bring the shocks closer to vertical. You'll get less articulation, but the truck will feel more stable on the rocks.

I woud make it 4ws also. It will help out alot. I would use a modded tq3 for a controller so you can run independent rear steer. or if you have a high end radio like my 3pk, you can use that too. i have mine so i can have front ws and normal 4ws and crab walk. its cool.
