I know. That is why i run 7 4200.sub-c cells for the esc'c and 4 4200 sub-c cells for the 1/4 scale servos on my super. And that is why i am selling the axials on the kids tuber and going to XTM Thorns.

dude, 11 sub c's on your super. good greif. you should either invest in letting him get two esc's or get some servo regulators. i am only using 7 sub c's to run both the motors and the 1/4 scales and they do just fine.

I like the batt setup i have now.You figure a sub-c cell is about 2.5 ounces. And then think how much weight most people add with stick on weights or what ever method they like to use to add weight, i bet i am not that far off.
My pimp cane is only 8 pounds and the tuber is only 9 but uses 7 sub-c cells and 6 2/3 A's on the knuckles with a regulator.
When i set both rigs up the first time and got the weight the way i wanted i looked at them and said why not replace the lead with something usefull like batt.cells.It sure comes in nice when you are just out goofing off and you have a hour and a half run time.
As far as 2 esc's go i run to mamba max esc,s in my rig and have 1 on the way for the tuber.
Both my rigs work very well you figure i finished second at the sercrc event this weekend and my 7 year old son finished 8th .

No, those are the scores from the Battle Creek compitition. I think he was just showing that his setup works (hence, the #1 place finish).

just an update on this thread incase anyone else wonders if this is possible. Well guess what IT WORKS!!!! I am running cvd's with aluminum knuckles. it takes some time to configure everything but it will work. i just had to use a 1/4" widener on the fronts so that the wheels will not rub against the batteries. Also you will have to use the stock rings on the inside but can run the other type of rings on the outside.

When Run2jeepin brings his new knuckles to market, everyone can run knuckle packs even w/ Maxx wheels!
