Default Stick chassis shock mounting?

Hi, I'm trying to set up a clod with a stick chassis.. My question is where do the shocks attatch to at the bottom? Are they mounted to the axle somehow? If anyone has pics of shock setups on a stick clod that would help too.. Thanks guys!

The lower shock mount is a bracket that mounts to the underside of the axle stay.

ok, that helps a lot.. thanks guys. Only thing is how exactly does the L bracket bolt to the axle? I can't think of a smart/secure way of doing it.. thanks.

The bottom of the bracket is attached to the axle tube by a zip tie.

moondust, that is wicked! Thanks a lot... I made some lower mounts using the same principle as those, now I have to do uppers... I only have 1/8 thick aluminum, so I cant thread holes into it like the real ones..
