Having trouble putting my Pimp cane together
 

Is anyone else having trouble with the nylon nut and bolt that comes with the pimp cane which holds down the chassie and the diffs. I'm having trouble screwing it down, the nylon nut hits the difffs and there is no room for me to tighten it down. What am I doing wrong. Thinking about getting a small nut and bolt with a head on it and scew it down from the top. Any other better ideas..:roll:

isn't there a flat spot on nut? if so, that sits against the diff.. Then when you put the bolt through the chassis, spin the chassis around til it's tight..

I am not sure on the new canes though that R2J sells. I bought mine when JB started to make them. I also shimmed my bolt a bit, so that when it was tightened, the axles were straight. If not, the axles were clocked or the bolt would have been loose.

Yeah you do hold the nut against the housing and the slide the bolt through and spin the chassis or axle to tighten it.
