Default Herbie

Well...new to the scene...I'm taking a swing at my first build. I can't seem to get parts here soon enough...everyone seems to be out of arbitrary pieces, and I'm having to scramble for parts all over. Here's my list...
Pimp Cane 12.5" Chassis
Axiom V10 65T Motors (1 week out)
Tower MG-995 Servos
2K Masher Tires
RC4wd Alum Beadlocks
Clod Axles (week and a half out)
CVD Shafts (Coming w/Axles)
Thundertech BTA Agressor Stering on both Axles
Mamba Max ESC (can't find one in stock anywhere!!!!)
TQ3
Airsoft BB's

As of now....the body is trimmed, painted, semi-decaled, and is awaiting it's final decals. W/out more parts, I'm somewhat at a stand still. I'll put tires/wheels together next. Here are some progress pictures for your Eye Candy enjoyment, I'll post more as HERBIE comes along:

So many parts...no-where to go:

Yes, the 25 is different from the Max. The Max will handle both brushed and brushless plus it will handle the bigger motors a lot easier than the 25.

Body looks good. My only input would be that with clod axles and those rc4wd wheels you are going to be really wide. With the cvds even wider so you may not be legal for comps.

Just noticed you said 4ws so nevermind, I guess you dont mind about comps.

The Mamba Max will run two brushed motors very nicely.
You will need 2 Mamba Maxs or 2 Mamba 25s to run two brushless motors though.

Herbie looks good so far.

I almost painted my Bug that way. Looks cool. I thought I was a dork for thinking about it. Guess I'm not the only dork on the site.

Update: Axles should be here next week w/the CV axles!!!!....still searching for an ESC....the Mamba Max, can only find the 25's. Axiom should have motors ready to ship here in a few days too. Then...it's nuts n' bolts time. Aseembly GALORE!!!. CAN'T WAIT!!!!

I would say because it was in the 2.2 scale section and it is not going to be scale by any means?
