Default anyone running cvds & rc4wd bead locks??

i'm building a clod based 2.2 and plan on running the rc4wd BLO1N bead lock wheels.i have clod axles with the TTR cvds but i'm thinking this set up might be to wide to meet the rules.
is anyone else running this set up on your 2.2? if so how wide is is your rig from outside of tire to outside of tire??
thanks,dave!

I'd think it would be right at 12.5in or a hair over. the best Beadlocks your can get for a 2.2 Clod is from RD400. But not sure if he can hook ya up. I wanted a set from him, but he never got around to it. I have CVD's up front and have rear Traxxas wheels.

Cut the outer bead off and now my Total track width is 11-1/2in Wide. And if you narrow the wheels more it can me under 11in's.

Depends on the tire.

I ran the same setup on the original Stink Bug 2.2...
with moabs, 12.25"
with redrocks i had to cut the foam to push the tire towards the inside and the outside was nearly flat at 12.5" exactly.

With the hpi nitro rims I got the redrocks under 12" and theres no work involved cause there already narrowed.

did you have to use adapters?do'es anyone make a 14 to 12 mm adapter? i e-mailed rc4wd they say the 2.2 wheels only come with 12mm hex so i ask if i could special order a set with 14mm hex.
