| What new shoes for my Super Clod???
I have been running 55 turn lathes with stock pinions and some Ofna Monster Pin tires on their wheels with wideners. I want to ditch the wideners and get some 40 series wheels and tires. I still have the adapter to use aftermarket wheels and I think it's the 23mm size so I can use maxx wheels and stuff correct? I just want some plain wheels and tires that are good for driving down a trail and climbing over fallen trees and such. I've been looking at the Proline tires but unsure. I just bought some 2.2 Moabs for my TLT project and won't be able to test them until they get here. Should I moab the clod also?

Sounds like you need Mashers. Moabs will suck at mud and the trail running stuff that you do, but Mashers will work well on any terrain. Wheels? I would go for a non-beadlock proline one, with the heavy duty 23mm hex. I do recommend painting over the chrome though... |

I use the 40 series Moabs (not the XL) on XTM wheels. They have too much traction on some surfaces...
