Default Got my new pimp cane but I got a Question!!!

So I assembled my 17.5 Wb pimp cane and have a question where do I mount my reciever pack, reciever, and speed control??I realize the battery goes on the right front axle tube(or under the knuckles....if someone would just come up with some bling knuckles... ).I could make a plate to mount the speed control and reciever to the backbone but I didnt want to drill the chassis(or is that acceptable??)and just mount my reciever pack to the top of the right rear axle tube???

I know I must be making this harder than it should be........

on THE VETTE I have the batteries under the knuckles ,I had the receiver pack on the right front axle brace , ESC on the left rear axle brace & the receiver on the left top of the axle case . but I change the receiver pack to 4 SUB-C's and they are under the rear knuckles 2 on each side . I have a little added weight to offset the 1/4 scales and motors . Torsion Vette 11

I mounted my batteries on my axles, same thing with the servos, I have everything mounted to the axles but then I moved my super rooster, and rx to being zip tied to the chassis

I have pretty much decided yto do it like this..

mount main battery on right front, rec pack on right rear, reciever and speed control 2/3 of the way to the front of the chassis mounted on the back-bone.

Is it ok to drill a couple of small holes in the back bone to attach a mounting plate???Or does anyone have another suggestion???

my NN chassis made it all too easy before!!!!

You can use velcro, stick one side to chassis, and the other to whatever you want to mount, use industrial strength velcro.
