I've run A cells sucessfully during warm weather... when it's colder they loose their punch.

I'm running the elite 1500s in a 8 cell pack now and never had any issue with them.

Clod Stick with 2 TR2 ESCs, 2 60 turns, and 2 5995s run off a voltage reg... between 30 and 40 minutes of comp crawling.

I was running CBP 2500's A cells... not AA... from Cheap Battery packs.
They worked great in weather above 50 degrees... lost the punch when colder.

I am now running the Elite 1500 2/3 A cells which work well all the time.
