Default TTR CVD and knuckles issues---> wrong bearings

Hello guys, well at first sorry for my poor english ^

So here is my problem, i mounted TTR CVD on my clod as shown in the manual
But when i tight the 2 bolts that fix the knuckles , the knucles can't move freely. In fact the knuckle can't move as soon as the bigger part of the bolt goes into the c-hub

But if i remove the inner bearing of the knuckle ( the side of the gearcase ) there is no more problem even if i tight the bolt full the knuckle is still free to move

So what did i do wrong ?? Does it already happen to someone ?
Does it come from the knuckle ? or from the TTR CVD ??
I'm kinda desperate...

Thank you for helping me

what knuckles are you using? sounds like its binding against the bearing, especially if you take it out and its fine. is the bearing fully seated in the bore?

I'm using the stock clod knuckles and the stock axle tube, same for the bolts
YES the bearing is fully seated in the bore
I think like you thorsteenster, it sounds like it's binding against the bearing

I'll post some pics later

sounds like you just got ones from the new batch of cvd that thunder tech just started shipping i found out that the bearings that thay are shipping out ofter march first or thear about are wrong , you need to get ahold of them and let them know and thay will tell you what you need to do to get this fixed. after you get the new bearings you will love the extra stearing that you will get with the cvd's
Good luck

Ya know...it's interesting you should bring this up...I had the same issue last weekend when I installed my CVD's too. Wondered why there was so much drag on the steering after I installed the knuckle. I didn't get too worried about it and just backed the king pin screws out a tad to loosen it up...but now I wonder if that bearing could be the problem? :-(

Thanks guys i just read this on her website:
Attention: CVP kits purchased between Feb10th & March 18th were shipped with an incorrect 8x12mm bearing size and may cause a fit issue with the steering knuckle / axle tube. Replacement bearings will be sent out upon return of the suspect ones. Contact us if you feel you received one of these mis-packed kits

At least i have the answer i'm not guilty because i started going crazy !!!! I mean i know i'm a newbie but it's not so difficult to assemble these CVD !!!!!
This ?./:;,:,: bearings ruined my week end , Godd damn it !

By the Way Thank you guys for the answer

Yes, the bearings are the culprit. My front set had the wrong ones, but the straight rears I bought had the correct ones. I was able to change the inner knuckle bearings out for 2 from the rear set to make mine work. It's only the inner knuckle ones that cause the problem. Good luck, you will love these once you get the correct bearings.

I had that problem until I realized that I had the knuckles on the wrong side. it seems that they have to go on the correct sides due to camber. I believe D2 was right and D1 was left (Verify, I am going off Memory). When I switched them it worked perfectly. If you have the reversed the angle pushes against the bearing a binds it. That and make sure you grease everything up. I put a little grease on the axle itself. Made a world of difference.
