at this point in time i would say RC4WD has the strongest locker, that being the Tracgear.
nothing wrong with other cheaper lockers though.

while metal geared lockers are good, metal against plastic wont last forever.

Whats wrong with the quick set stuff...I just locked mine with that, because my TTR locker didn't show up in time.

Yes, I know...the TTR ones are on the way...but what is wrong with the quick set? I was thinking that since most of the stress is on the rear wheels and the rear is the most likely to strip out in the plastic...it might be worth it to use a RC4WD one in the rear and the TTR in the front. What do you think.

With the Rc4wd locker I had more problems stripping the brass hexes in the axles than anything else. It was because of poor tolerances around that area. They also wobbled in the gear case from being untrue.

They where still usable, but I was running a very unforgiving brushless setup.

For my new truck I'll be running the CPE's.

I still say hot glue is the best locker.

It does work, and it is cheap, but striping the plastic hex in stock diff would be a nightmare during a competition.
