Default building a clod. need a little help picking a chassis

Alright this is only my 3rd or 4th time in the clod forum, for some reason it just hit me a few days ago, i want to build a clod crawler. Im putting together a list of parts i need but not sure on the chassis yet.

I was looking at hustlers but i dont wanna spend that much on a chassis. Ive looked at J2s,NNs and pimp canes. Never been a big fan of torsion designs, i like 4 link trucks.

What would you guys suggest for a chassis?

I'm building a NN now, it's just such a sweat package that it's hard to pass up.

I really liked the J2 that Digler had. Plus he said it was the best rig he ever built.

I am going to have a custom laser cut NN style frame, links and shocks for sale pretty soon. (links are setup for a droop suspension, crawls like crazy with this setup). Shoot me a PM if you are interested. (and no, I am not a vendor, I am not making anything, I am just selling a chassis from my Clod)

Your chasses choice needs to take into consideration the type of rock you are crawling on. For what we run on here in Washington, link trucks just dont have the center clearance needed. I would recommend the Stick chassis.

Are you going to use it in comps? I like my SW2 when I can get it away from Justin, He`s thinking of making it a tuber now.

Yeah the J2 is already ordered, the axles are ordered, and im working on getting electronics right now.

Here we run on a lot of sandstone, so linked rigs work pretty well.
