Default TTR CVD's and RC4WD knuckles?

I just got a set of TTR CVD's from RCP and when I tried to install them with my RC4WD knuckles it seems they are sticking out too far and the knuckles will not fit into the axle far enough to mount them with the two screws...off by 1-1.5mm upper and lower. Are there known problems with the RC4WD knuckles and CVD clearance or did I just get the wrong bearings??

thanks for the help, tried to search but couldn't find anything other than the bearing problem.

Measure the width of the bearings in the CVD kit.

I don't have anything to measure them in metric but they are 5/32 of an inch

I think it is the bearing width because if I take out the inside bearing it will fit no problem. How bad would it be to run it without the inside bearing for a limited 1-2pack stretch??

Call TTR....mine did the same thing and they said that the knuckle bearings that were sent out in several more recent kits were too thick. I think it was only a .5mm difference, but it makes a huge difference when you try to install the knuckle. All you have to do if this is the case is send TTR the bearings you received for the knuckles and they will inturn send you back the correct one's.

I called TTR, nice guys. They said they were pretty sure they were the wrong size bearings and I will just send them back for new ones.

Thanks for the help
