| different servo placement?
Anyone come up with any neat spots to mount a servo, other than the normal axle mount? I've seen the servos mounted to the frame like the 1:1's have it but i'm not sure if that'll work out too well with my setup. I'm trying to keep the servo off the axle if possible.

Mounting it to the axle is the only way I would consider a good way. Think about it
The only time I have ever seen a Ok chassis mounted setup on a clod. Is when someone rigged up a bunch of bicycle cables. Cable Drive Steering, Single Plane Chassis |

Yeah it seems like the norm is the best way to go. I spent the 2nd half of my shift thinking about different setups but none will work too well. Kinda wish they made axles with built-in servos that didn't take up alot of space. | |
