Default new clod build!

alright just bought a clod,
Thundertech axles
M&L Chassis
M&L 8 tooth pinion and adjustable motor mounts
2 55T lathes M&L lockers in the diffs
Steering servo mount and linkage kit

http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-...2593/clod2.jpg

What do you think good (or atleast workable) shocks that would fit that chassis?
also im running a novak 610.

http://www.teamnovak.com/products/es...hrv/index.html

Do you think this esc would handle 9.6v and twin 55t motors? would the 55t be too quick for 9.6?

also I'm going to fit stock tmaxx wheels and rims... until I find something else to throw on there, the 7 dollar adapters sound like a good choice (dollar wise) but I really want to throw on 40 series with moabs, any budget adapters for that? Or adapters for the 14mm to 40 series?

I plan on making everything removable because I'm going to get a super pimpcane.

I'm new to this clod stuff, but love dual motor beef axles. I don't have a lot of cash to throw at RC stuff, but any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
chris

Look like a good start. 14mm 1/8 monster wheels & tires would be a cheap option ang you will hae to glue though.

So how will this hinder performance, should I get a servo battery pack?

My guess is it won't even power one Good high torque servo that good. A RX pack would be a must. But I wouldn't even use that ESC. I'd buy something different. They is many other ESC cheaper or around the same price that will do so much better.

I run a Novak regulator in mine and it powers 2 1/4 scale high torque servos great and I don't have to worry about keeping a receiver pack charged since it uses the regular battery to power the whole truck.
