u should switcht the front and rear pinions. you want to have the 9t in the back and 10t in the front. the way you have it will result in mondo-amounts of axle stall.

Jay,
on my V2 set up, the drag link was bent to clear the gear box and it worked and cleared it perfectly.....although, now all of my links are bent

But after relooking at the picture, mine was not bent that much at all.
Guess he's trying to keep the angles down?

rockraper 03-15-2005 02:56 PM

the chassis is a v3 proto type chassis. the shocks are momoth shocks . all you have to do is read the wright up

Yeah... rockraper drove awsome in the comp Saturday with the new vPrime (v3) Chassis. His scores were easily 3 times as good compaired to what he is used to scoring at our comps.

His vPrime is actually the last prototype and first production model of our new chassis. Rockraper has had if for a while now, I asked him not to post any pic of the chassis because there may have been some tweeks to the final design, but there were none. The chassis preforms great as it is. Thanks for keeping it under wraps rockraper until we were ready to show it off.

BTW... most of the people at our competiton Saturday had no idea I was also running the vPrime 2.2 chassis. It is a runner, I'm very happy with it. I guess I'll have to post some pics soon.

is this true? i always though that you wanted a biger/ higher pinion in the rear so you can have your wheels spin more. because when you are going up things your weight is on the rear axle, and your front would spin more than your rear. unless if you put the biger pinion in the rear then you get more tire spin.

it also makes sence to have the rear more torquer than the front. can any one let me know if i need to swich the pinions around?

mike 03-21-2005 10:56 AM

where did you get the fod body? :)

rockraper 03-21-2005 11:22 AM

rockraper 03-21-2005 03:31 PM

Try running the small pinion in the rear. Since the weight transfers to the rear, the front end will spin easier than the rear so you want to make the rear end have more torque.
That is my theory, if you find it werks better with the small pinion in the front then go with it I guess. :)
