Link Question

If this needs to be moved I apologize.
Ive searched with no luck, so my question is, is there a particlar size or brand thats anyone uses for their ball end when making their links?
Ive been usuing Dubro 6-32 but I thought I'd heard of guys using a Traxas end.
Im just trying to find something with a little more beef.
Ive got a 2 supers, a clod tuber and a clod stick.
Any preferences or suggestions would be great.

Lots of people use the Traxxas 1942 ball end package. You either need to drill out the end for 6-32 threads or jam it on there though. If you need beefy ends, the Dubro Monster-Duty ends are pretty stout. We've never had on break on any chassis/link we've sold to date.

They're threaded for 6-32 and can easily accept 8-32 as well. They're 1/8" thick around the head so they don't bend at all.

BTW, I got my moped from you today works great!

I use the Traxxas 5525 (part number) ball ends. They fit well, with the way I do my links (which I have had a ton of practice with in the past week).

I believe it is the way Dirk does his, which is to use 8-32 threaded rod through 1/4" brakeline. I just used an 8-32 tap into the Traxxas ball ends and it fit perfectly onto the rod.

Here is a link: Traxxas Rod Ends
