Are you modding the knucles (grinding them) or are you leaving them as they are with only one bearing?

I was planning on leaving one bearing. Again, several guys in CO are running them that way and have had no troubles. I was surprised too.

These knuckles will be replaced with the JP Customs knuckles next week from RCP. The Integy ones may never see the rocks!

What about the panels? what color are you painting those? or is everything going yellow? can't wait to see the finished product.

You should probably buy a set of these to go with it, the company name is a little ironic.

Ever heard of LOCKTIGHT?

The only problem I've had with the Raptors is gearing. There shouldn't be any problem with the 4 link setup, mine was flawless. I didn't buy there steering though, I went with my own to keep the CG lower. Looks like part of your steering issues could be cause you steer into the ground cause you tried to get clearance without clocking the Raptors.

DIRK: Looking great, I built mine with the stock tubes.

assembled the links. Ahhhh.....so nice to not have to drill and tap!
Perfect fit with the Hustler Stage 1 kit.

last part of the axle assembly was the upper link mount. I've always just used round aluminum stock and now wonder what I was thinking. These mounts will not and cannot move. I put everything together and mounted the chassis to the axles, via the links, creating a 17 inch wheel base.

HAHAHAHA! The bling machine w/ some yeller to it! With the weight of your axles metal gears might be a good idear. Although you can probably get by....... Those Traxxas ball ends are going to snap the weight of those axles too, I run bigger Jato ones and they snap pretty easily.

Can't wait to see it on the rocks!

BTW, You missed out this weekend
