Ahhhhhh, I see! Makes sense if you arent gonna mount packs there. I hate using standoffs to get drag links higher. Totally defeats the purpose of having stiff knuckles when the standoffs flex.

Also....I really thought that a larger link and rod end package was in order.

I picked up some 5/8" Delrin links with aluminum sleeves, that include a shock mount, from Dan, at Finish Line RC. They are very stout. You can see them pretty good in the pics.

Can't wait for what? To see me victorious over you again?
There will be changes for strength. No need to try and be funny, Smartypants. You are my go to guy for advice on 75 lbs. rigs.

I put mine on a diet, it's down to 74.

Will it be ready for the 24th?

Now it sounds like a sales pitch for Finish line RC , seriously though, it turned out better than i had imagined , it looks awesome, love the bling .
Btw i also "advertise" from whoever i buy my parts from, if they are great products and have good customer service as a service for others to take advantage of

nice rig, needs some more bling. you could always pick one of these up from junfac, it looks to be an the same fit as the upper link mounts that already come with a hustler kit!!!

I hate his stuff.

Some of the bling will be withdrawn from the build tonight, in favor of some "more comp friendly" parts. I want to lighten it up mostly. I'm going to start focusing on making this thing a comp worthy rig. Keep an eye out!

I thought about it but think that the subtle colors make it stand out more. Too much of an accent color no longer makes the accent. I have an idea though..........just for you!

So are you planning on going back to the stock plastic gearcase so you can shave the hell out of it??

sounds like this is going to be you national's rig...

WOW That thing looks great, I had to look at the gearcases with sunglasses

But thanks, now you made just want to scrap my gecko 2 chassis and go buy a hustler

But in all seriousness, about how much more capable would the average hustler chassis be than the average gecko 2 chassis? By that I mean everything is the same except the 2 chassis.
