I think you should throw some 1.9ers on it...

You know, to give the other Crawlorodians a chance

I finished it a couple weeks ago. Took to Palmer Park for its virgin run and I slid it off a minor ledge. It hit the bottom, right on one wheel and broke a lower link. It also broke another lower link during the tumble. Somewhere along the fall, it also bent the rear section of the Hustler Chassis. I had to tear the whole thing down. I painted the chassis because it was all scratched and I'm getting it all back together today. It also stripped both servos(killing one of them completely some how). On the side where it took the impact of the fall, it broke the plastic gear case and busted the axle brace right off(still at Palmer park somewhere).
So...it was pretty fuked up but is looking real good again. I should finish it today. Just have to rewire it with its new yellow and black wire, etc.
For the hour I had it running, it was awesome! Crawls amazing! I was just getting used to the full droop set up before I crashed it. It got tons of attention at Palmer and I can't wait to get it out for a comp during the Winter Series.

It was about 8 feet high. I thought my XL's were stickier than they really were.
It was all stuff that you'd expect to break. Nothing really that major. It sounds bad but wasn't horrible. THe links were delrin so they broke fairly easy. I was most surprised to find the bend in the rear of the chassis. No idea how that happened.

I think the delrin just needed to be thicker stock.
The RC Finish line links have aluminum tubing on the outside where the shock mounts bolt on. The links broke where the aluminum meets the delrin. The stronger aluminum basically snapped the plastic.

I didn't take any. Didn't have the camera.
I have some broken links I can snap photos of.
I'll get some pics of the "new" rig.
I had to make some new body panels too.
I should finish tonight and be running tomorrow.

Didn't get the wiring done tonight.
I have the Axial wheels with Moabs back on. I broke the adapter for my Proline wheels in the fall. The Axials look awesome anyway but I was trying to keep them for show only.
Also finishing up some 5/8ths aluminum links.

I'll have it running for next week and will get some action shots.

Ummm.....maybe it is 3/8ths.
It's pretty big stuff. When yer drunk, it looks bigger.

Right now, my penis looks 15 inches instead of the normal and real size of 12 inches.
