Thumbs up Super Quick Stick Build

This is my build I completed (once i got the parts) in two days. Started off with a Gecko 2 RTR (off ebay) and ended up with this. The Gecko 2 CG was too high and kept rolling in some situations. I saw Project Xerox and had seen the TCS stick, so I had to try. I devised some homemade links, all- thread wrapped in carbon fiber tube then aluminum tube over that with some plastic ends. Chassis started off with 1/2" aluminum tube from hardware store and some furniture screw things. Jammed those into the 17" long tube. 1/2" bolt connects to TCS heim joint . I got some other goodies from TCS as well. Got the idea for the mounting shocks, well hose clamp, from Xerox project. L-brackets from hardware store.I know the stick has been done before but this was my first build.

Integy Aluminum Spools in both axles.
Moabs on Aluminum Beadlocks (Don't know the brand but these things have some weight to them)
Aluminum Knuckles (Don't know the brand)
Integy 55t brushed motors paired with 8t pinions in the gearboxes.
Airtronics 94361 servos (rear locked now, also have punkrc 4ws board)
Stock Traxxas TC3 Radio Gear
Novak Super Duty ESC
Four AA's battery pack on rear axle for servos
Probably going with a saddle pack up front (stick batt restricts some steering)
Rubicon Jeep body.
Here are some links to the build. Holler if they don't work.

Threw in a picture of some K-Rocks I've been cutting/grinding up, they are softening up some what. Haven't gotten on the rocks yet but soon, very soon. Hope you like. Looking to build a low-cg clodbuster racer soon too.

Buy more if you plan on beating on it at all. My homemade stick started with the hardware store tube, it lasted about 2 packs before it was bent beyond recognition Ended up with some 1/2" 6061 solid round stock on my current (3rd) evolution. Took a pretty nasty tumble on the 1st course during our Summer Series final...only casulty was the body post in the cab punching through the body

Looking good, FWIW

Starting my build
