My rig use 55T motors too, with 8t pinion both front and rear. This combo are great for me.

I would love too but the novack rooster crawler esc will only run two 55t motors and I dont want to use two esc's :-(

Your rooster esc should be able to handle 2 higher wind motors no problem

85t's?

I would probably go with some 9t's or 10t's if you like any wheel speed. You'll need adjustable motor mounts for both, and yeah long pinions are nice if you can find them. My favorite combo back in the day was Axiom 65t's with 8t RcGuy pinions.

Pinions 32p Long Pinions. 10t's or 11t's and some 11.1v lipo Pack. You will need adjustable motor Mounts for Sure. Like Highmark stated. 65t and 8t Pinions are a great starting point.
