searching an article Hi guy's, I am a rc-crawler fan from Germany and new in this Forum. Four weeks ago i started to build my own crawler, based on clod-axles. I have read a lot of articles about buildup's from clodcrawlers, but now I am searching for a special article which i can't recovery. It was an article about cut the power from the rear axle, so that only the frontaxle get the power. In this article you could read how to do this, with a third servo. Is there anyone who knows what article I am searching for? (sorry for my bad english - i hope you understand what i mean) greetings Michael |

Hi Michael. Welcome to the addiction. |
Welcome to the forum. Where are you located in Germany? I'm in Baumholder. If you ever need help translating something to english just let me know. |
Hi dirtyal, i am located in the "Westerwald" that#s in the middle of Köln and Frankfurt. What have you done or what do you do in Baumholder? Thank's for your Help. greetings Michael |
I'm in the Army. I've been here for about 6 years now. I'm getting out and going back to the states in March though. |
@ dirtyal, did you live alone in Baumholder, or is your Family also there? How old are you? what kind of rc - car do you have? greetings Michael |
My wife and kids are here with me. My wife is from here. I'm 26. Right now I have an Axial AX-10, Losi 8ight, and a traxxas Stampede. I just sold my brushless E-Maxx and Brushless Revo. |
Hello Michael, welcome. I'm new around here too but it's the best place for crawlers on the web. On another note this brings up a topic I have thought about... We need more channels on pistol grips and more solid state circuits for receivers. Has anyone seen the solid state switches from robot market place? Man I hope it ok to post these links. http://www.robotmarketplace.com/marketplace_teamdelta_rc.html or this clod steering circuit...? http://www.clodmodracing.com/products/index.php?product=Dual%20Steer you probably already have.... but it seems that there is a need for a cross between these two circuits... so that you can shut off either the front or rear or have both on at the same time without a servo and switch. I use the solid state switches to ignite the model rocket engines on my rocket car... I don't think they have one that can handle the current or it could probably be made to work. |
