Default Heres my NN chassis truck with a Battery Question

I Have been Slowly Assembling this truck for a few months.

Its got:

NN Chassis RC4wd Front and rear Steer Kit, Wheely king Shocks, (I think) Stock Clod motors, and Imex Rock Tires. I've been putting this together from spare parts I've got lying around

I had Imex Swamp Dogs on it but it looked funny and didn't have much ground clearence. So off to the hobby shop for the taller 2.2 rock tires.

Heres my question.

I've bought a Novak Super Duty Speed control. I've been thinking about running the Dual Battery option as I will probably use this truck for more than just Crawlin. I don't have any custom made Battery assemblys. I have been using the stuff you can buy at the store. I'm running the 14 in wheelbase. Its not leaving much room for dual batterys. Has anyone done this with the premade battery packs?? I'm planning on making a aluminum plate to go under the body on top of the chassis to hold my ESC and Reciever. I've been thinking about trying to put it under that. I'm also trying to keep my Center of gravity low. Mounting the second battery to the plate may not let me do this.

Your Opinions on this ???

Thanks

So what do you think of my very basic rig?? I'm going to run it for awhile before I start locking the front and back rears. I've never had Independent 4 wheel steer. This should be fun.
