Hunter green or any color green that has been "weathered".

I can't wait for these to turn up in the Uk. Can you tell me how wide the axles are from hex to hex?

From the other thread about it: "206mm, outside of the hex to the outside of the other hex."

so does this include the rest of the parts to just build the dampers like normal, so you can eliminate that stupid assed, over complicated cantilever set-up tamiya seems to want to put on ALL of their solid axled trucks?

Looks great,The tranny is geared low,so would you recommend using the stock motor,or a 55 turn motor.Any idea how many turn the stock motor is.

I have a 55 turn motor set aside for this truck, when I get one, just thinking it might be (dare I say it) too slow, with the gear reduction of this tranny.I don't want to pull it apart more times than I have to,I'd rather get it right the first time.

as I said on scale4x4, this thing really isn't my cup of tea. I will admit that it is great for tamiya to be marketing a kit as a crawler, and the body is beautiful, but the chassis is overcomplicated, and it will probably hang up on rocks a LOT. the axles were served with a side of beef, but they are simply too wide for a scaler and look too prone to hanging up on stuff to be used in a comp rig. it is a nice looking kit, but I think tamiya missed their mark on everything except the body and tranny

I understand. I wanted to paint some bodies too this past weekend but the weather was crappy, its even crappier today. I got a Axial body to be painted, a Rdlogics Sho buggy body to be painted, a Proline F150 Rustler body to paint, and a Tmaxx body and........a few others.

Yup, been cutting decals, waiting for paint, waiting for the weather to break, and working on stuff for a vet that lost both legs in Iraq. When a guy like that asks you to do work, you do work.
