from eye-to-eye:

4" fully extended
2 3/4" compressed

The shocks are all plastic. They include 3 sets of pistons (3, 2, or 1 hole), a few spring clips, and spring cups so you can even run em as coilovers.

Have not had a chance to run it yet so I can't tell if they leak.

The shocks are from the TXT-1.As for leaks, not yet,but my kit came with clear o-ring seals,it should have come with orange o-rings.The clear ones are for an aluminum bodied shock.I got this info from the owner of my LHS,His shocks were leaking and this is what Tamiya told him.But like I said, I haven't had a problem yet.

Thanks for the info guys, guess that puts them in the same league as the Losi or Traxxas Big Bore shocks length wise!
