| Can anyone please post photos of the tranny?
Can anyone please post photos of the tranny? Is it a good donor for other builds? How good is it compared to the AX10 tranny? Thanks! |

Well you've got the photo but here is what I think. Its quite compact. Not as small as the axial but not bad either. There is a ton of gear teeth touching at all times because of the planitary gear set which should mean it will hold up well. It seems geared pretty low. The best thing in my opinion is that to bolt it in, you use 3mm nuts that are replacable instead of screwing into plastic and risking stripping the case. Its also 100% enclosed. Should work fine (pinned) with axial/traxxas outputs and driveshafts. |

Traxxas metal yokes are round,I wouldn't waste my time with the plastics ones that are not round.

Id get an axial trans because the tamiya trans is bigger than the axial, and probably more expensive. Just my opinion. Matt |

Some of the parts are already in stock at Tamiya America. I don't have the specific list but have been told that some of the 5-digit part numbers are already in. This includes some of the hop-ups.
