| "tie rod" question
The CR-01 instructions clearly state 51mm from link to link. The one that came with my kit is 90mm long, and the non threaded section is 67mm long. Did I get the wrong part? Is this a misprint in the instructions? |

There are a few tie rods in the kit. Make sure you pulled the right one from the right bag.

Yeah nothing in the parts pack is matching up to the 51mm rod on page 9 step 13. DOHH!!!!! It just isn't in the kit. I see now on page 15 the one I thought was the front tie rod piece actually locks up the rear steering. The front end tie rod just isn't in my kit. Last edited by green73; 06-04-2008 at 06:45 PM. |

The part should have been in bag b. Double check that you didn't throw it out when throwing out the bag. The actual shaft should measure 65mm. You should have 2 of these, if not, than you just may be missing it.

| I left the pack with this tie rod in another room of the house. I had it the whole time. |

that manual makes a great beer coaster. The problem I have when drinking and building is remembering to NOT use the dremel to open beers. Sounds fun, but cleanup is... |
