Default CR-01 step 4 stabilizer question

I am building my CR-01 kit right and i have a question on step 4.

the medium and hard stabilizers are different colors to tell their stiffness, the manual explains that the front stabilizer rod is medium/gold and the rear stabilizer is hard/silver.

I have bad eyes when it comes to colors, but one of the rods is obviously thicker than the other, I am guessing that the thick rod is the hard/silver and the thinner rod is the medium/gold. Can somebody please confirm this, I do not want to have to pull those stabilizers out after I assemble the chassis.

thanks for any help

You are correct, most people are leaving them out

you want body roll /articulation for crawling, also alot of people are not using the cantilever setup and putting the hard springs in the back and softer ones up front

I thought i would give my 2 cents. If you are going to stay with the cantilever setup put the stabilizer in the rear and leave the front one out otherwise it has to much body roll. It handles alot better that way, if your going to dump the cantilevers leave the rods out.

I think I'm sticking with the stock setup. When I saw the video of the CR-01 long before it was available, I thought It looked like it performed very well.

I will also definitely be running the cantilever setup, I think it's pretty cool.

Run it with the stiff springs and softer stabi bar in back, and the softer springs and stiffer stabi bar in front.

I run shocks in the"normal possition" ,and use the mediem tortion bar in the rear.I just played around with the cantilever left overs untill i got it to work.Helps with torque twist.

Right on.

Check out the rear shock locations I use, I found it to work the best.
