Im using jato shafts, they are strong but im having problems with them twisting off at the yoke, so i got zip ties around the ears to hold them in place. I want to get the punishers and just TRY to stop getting my rig caught in those positions where it would break stuff, haha will see!!!

I'm keeping an eye open for something like this, too. If/when I get a new motor, I'll probably end up getting something daft, and my stock shafts are already showing a little twist after only 2 weeks!

I'm sure you already know about the 3Racing ones here, but I also remember reading that there are Tamiya ones that are "reinforced" (part #54108 is what I wrote down). I've not been able to find any pictures of those yet, though.

I'm also talking to someone I work with who might be able to help. He builds model steam trains, and apparently does some very nice metalwork, mostly in brass. Brass driveshafts could be...unusual?

Shame, because they looked like my favourites so far. I like the idea of having shafts that break before anything more serious does.

ok well, i bought a set of traxxis drive sharfts and metal ends to the engine ( i dont know what the actual name is for that specific part lol) and they work great. no more popping off from torque!!! another thing i tried which worked on the stock shafts was i put a small screw threw the u joint looking thing to make it stay shut. no pop offs with the stock ones after that
