Default 4WS question???

Hi I am new here, and I bought CR-01 recently.

Its amazing crawler, what I was thinking is to have 4WS and I use Radio Futaba 3PM (2.4 GHz).

My question is do I have to use the same servo for front & rear or it doesn’t matter if they are different brand with different speed & torque?

Thank you guys for your help.

DOes not matter, but putting the stronger is the front would be better, you prob also want to run a bec, the Castle Creations has twice has much amps as the novak, plus it's fully programable.
I am run a airtronics 94358 in the front and the toward pro mgr946 in the rear.
Oh and how to setup the 3pm for 4ws- Setting up Futaba 3PM for 4ws

It shouldn't matter what servos you use front and back in terms of make. Most people I would believe (and i'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong) will use the same servo in the front and rear but it's not necessary. Just make sure that you are using servos that can handle the job in terms of strength. I know a lot of guys that crawl like the Hitec 645mg because of it's strength, durability, and low cost. I used them for steering on my tmaxx and I had no problems with it even when my wheels were half sunk in mud!
