vipxj, the only plastic parts are the axle housings, battery tray, and the two other trays that hold the esc and the reciever. Those will remain plastic as some chassis I have im not able to change out a few parts, either too expensive or not produced.

A good thing here is I almost have enough parts to make another stock chassis. With the purchase of very little parts, but im going to put it all up on ebay and try to make some money back. I do this with all my chassis. After you go metal you really dont need the plastic parts so toss em.

Naw its not 137 pounds.. lol It does weigh though but it climbs a few small things around the house as im running pajero rims and tires at the moment cause my other beadlocks havent come in yet. I got the 3racing axles yesterday and for 17 bucks they are great. Also just ordered 3racing shocks too so thats another 30 bucks added. The tamiya monster truck shocks suck @$$ so im selling those with the kit extras.

So have you found any good places around Miami for crawling? I go were they are construction houses and I crawl around there. Is mad fun and I also have some blocks in my back yard and that is also fun. If you find any place let me know, maybe we can meet up go

Im actually waiting on the shocks to come in. The post office says today so well see. Once I get that on the rig and the body painted I will start looking but I think I might have some places in mind as well. If not im making a track in the yard.

The only servo problem I had is the one i bought from that hobby store that broke but it was replaced the next day already. Also the servo turns more than the knuckles will let it so I dont like hearing that straining noise so I adjust the max to where the knuckles would allow with no noise. Truck only needs front beadlocks, paint the body and thats it. Final picks will come later.

WOW............that thing looks sic!!!!!!

I think the only alloy parts I'll get for mine are the knuckles, C's, and straight axle adapters to help clean up the rear axle.

Can't wait to see yours finished!!

Nice lookin rig... I just put a mamba max ESC and a Holmes Hobbies 10t cobalt motor powered by a 3s 2200mah lipo. Good wheel speed and lots of torque. I would definitely recommend the mamba max as it also has the BL option.

You can always send in your servo to Hitec for repair/replacement...

Not on mine. Metal axle housings too.

I've just received 20 metal rod ends from RC4WD. So by Sunday, the only on the chassis will be the planetary case, the battery tray, electronics plates, and servo savers. And I'm working on the servo savers.

HBC865, where did you get the roof rack? That looks good. The rc channel axles are really nice. Pricey, but I wasn't dissapointed.

That's awesome looking. I'm sure it's heavy and all that aluminum is overkill, but it's so cool.

Mine weighs in a little shy of 8lbs even with a lipo pack. I'm not into competitive crawling so it's not an issue. I actually like the way it handles with the extra weight.
