Looks good, but it looks like you have one of the rear links at an extreme angle compared to the front (and my CR). I built mine with the Stabilizers, but have since removed them. I prefer running without them. |

ya i just noticed i had one of them flipped, just simply popped it back in place. the car performs great on rocks without any stabilizers but when going high speed on gravel and attemping to make sharp turns(front axel unlocked) it tends to go on three wheels. do you guys think its due to the stabilizers absenence?

| Nope. If I remember correct, two are shorter than all the others, and those are mounted up front, on top. Those will help with that. So would increasing the rear spring stiffness. But using the stabilizer bar allows for a softer spring so it can absorb the bumps, but still have roll resistance. Like a real car. |

Starting to like the Unimog body alot. Good job. I have the medium sway in the front but it doesnt give me much articulation up front altought the back is good but im thinking on running with out any at all. EeePee, how would you go about increasing spring stiffness in the rear. You mean putting Blue front and blue rear colored springs? I have both sets but if I put the yellow up front my battery will make the chassis sink lower. This is the only problem im having with mine, also the fact that im waiting for my 3racing shocks. Swaybars on this rig seem to restrict alot to me.... Last edited by Trag; 10-07-2008 at 08:29 AM. |

Nice looking 'mog, I saw it on RCU. I'd like to get one of those bodies. I've got the soft springs up front at the moment as well. The slight droop doesnt really effect it in any way except for looks. Has wicked articulation though. I have another spring set and stabilizer bar set on the way so I'm going to try some other variations here's my front squat with soft springs/no stabilizer. There's a 3000mAh NiMh in there as well which is kind of heavy. Last edited by 860Crawler; 10-07-2008 at 09:46 AM. |

Yep, run the blue springs in back and yellow springs in front. And I run both stabilizers, the stiffer one in back. With a big 5000 mah 3S lipo in mine, the chassis sinks down just a little bit, but it's not that bad. Performance first. |

So I went home couldnt believe that I had to take apart the whole chassis to get to the sway bar out. Anyways I removed it and now the front tire sits on a tall redbull can. However I know the truck can do more but the canti link hits the chassis underneath so I may have to either grind out the link or adjust the rods some. Adjusting the rod will affect the shocks so.... No sway bars at the moment but may order the set to put the softest in the rear to avoid body roll while driving.
