let me know what you guys think, this is my first time doing anything rc.
current specs:
traxxas tq3 w/receiver
rooster crawler esc
stock motor
front wheels weighted 5 oz (1 oz fishing weights)
shock setup- :-?

thanx, a few things still need to be tuned a little there seems to be alota torque twist i think i might get new springs soon and change up the shocks a little other than that the only other issues im having is with the steering and the drag brake dont hold on inclines or declines as good as i expected, but its prolly just a transmitter issue......

I used the same transmitter/esc combo in mine for awhile, I'd be more inclined to think that it's the motor itself not being able to hold well enough. 35t lathe motor was strong enough to hold mine pretty well but still gave plenty of wheel speed when I needed it.

Yes, when I ran the stock motor it held on gradual inclines, but on steeper stuff it rolled slowly. The current motor (35T) holds strong even on very steep inclines.
