Really nice build! Just read it through. I like your cage. I'm thinking of making a simple cage from brass tube. Did you use ordinary solder and an iron? Do you need a torch to heat up the tube?

I recently saw some pictures of the Arctic trucks. So I bought new fenders and wheels used an old 2,2 that I had. |

Looks like a fun project. I really liked the 80 series, so much so that I ended up buying one. I think I'm going to put it on a SCX10 chassis though.

looking forward to seeing the mog body on the dropped chassis rails. i am sure it will look more realistic. i have seen others drop the flat bed in this body to create a useable pick-up type bed, might be an idea.... keep us updated carlos!

So, I completed my Mog. Unfortunately, lowering the chassis is so large and had a total body go a little higher than I wanted. With a full reduction of sticky round of wheel arches and a cross is in that case the minimum:-( |

OK. I found the original image on the net and my modified Tamiya Mog reduced chassis. On the two cars look the same. My, unlike the original, and about an 0,78 inch of gravity. Therefore, this should have a better stability in the field. |

Hi, wow nice surprise, you found my mog (the orange) its not realy originaly, its almost fully costumized and i mounted the 3racing high clearance knuckels because them looks very high. Nice work on your CR-01, good idea with the Dampers inside Good work and go ahead |

New beadlock wheels from JunFac are great. Have a little more than offset the original Tamiya, but that's all right. |

Great build(s)... I'm still partial to the white orig FJ. I saw that right before I was going to the paint store tomorrow. You are using zero shocks from junfac, no? What length? Also you had PL Chisel tires, correct? Finally were you using the stock foams that came with the chisels? Thanks!!! |

White FJ is already past. Shocks are JunFac. I think the length is104mm. Although producers wrote that they are directly for the CR-01, but they are too long. Less would definitely have been better. Proline Chisel is great, but the FJ body too big.

So after some time I decided to re-re-remake of my CR-01. I was inspired by the user of French farfab :-) thanks man The work goes slowly, because I have little time, but maybe I make a it to spring. And that's how it could look like in the future somehow To be continued Last edited by carlos46; 11-13-2011 at 05:13 AM. |
