Default cr-01 incline test

Sup everyone, just want to know if anyone has tested their CR01 on an incline? I tried this test that I found on another thread and tried it out for my self . First you get a board and apply a little grip tape to it (i used stair safty tape which is similar) this will remove the lack of traction and even the playground for all to try.

I was able to climb at a 55deg. incline. I put a degree finder on the board so I can see the exact deg. I was climbing at.

My Rig is mostly stock.
Tamiya bent link.
Tamiya short barrel springs
Junfac straight axle kit
Junfac heavy duty steering
Junfac stainless steel drive shafts

Tamiya 101bk esc.
spectrum 3000
cheap futaba servo
and some tweaks to the Canti system....

Cool, I always wondered what mine would do, but think it'll be pretty weak compared to some of my other trucks.

You got your upper rear links on top of the link mount by chance?

Very good!

Care to try some spacers between the links and the mount?

Just curious.

That's what a local guy here did(minicracker), besides stretching it to 12.5", he comps it and does pretty well with it. I'm always impressed how well it works.

Yep, I've gotten good results running some spacers between the links and mount.

Anything will work.

Now that I think about it, they might be from the first run of TCS's Stick chassis.

Heck, I dunno.

haha, I was going to say the same thing! Lunch time

I'd like to see what kind of incline mine can do as well. Its gone up a pretty steep board with griptape at the local hobby shop course. The front wheels were just barely touching the entire climb. I wish I could have measured and gotten the degree of incline.
