Hey, I'm new ! I already ordered several times with Stellamodels (2) and RC-Mart (3) from Hong Kong. I had no problem at all, within 2 weeks everything was ready at the postoffice. If you have any questions, they answer within 48 hours. The prices are rearly great. |

I have a long order history with stellamodels, they're very good. As for the knuckles I always wondered why they didn't make the CR01 with hub reductors from the very begginning. Or all crawlers for that matter. That is a very nice way to gain clearance under the axles. The only problem I see with 3racing products is that some of their parts are hit and miss quality wise. I had tried them in the past and found serious problems. Perhaps they have improved but at that price I am really interested what the quality is for such intricate parts which also need to be a very accurate fit too, to work properly. |

They are $53 each How is that a good price? I think you guys overlooked that part! Your looking at $212+shipping And they are made by 3R. Looks like Blue is the only color as well, that sucks! If they were $53 for 2 and came in black or chrome I would give them a shot and give ya some feedback. I think I will give RC4WD new ones a shot...

I believe that price is for a pair. They are making them for the AX10 also, and show a price of $75. If they were 75 each, no one would buy them.

mine showed up today, looks like I can get them mounted onto my hilift axles with just a little modification. they feel smooth, but I'm still going to open one up and make sure it is properly greased |

I received my 3Racing High Clearance Knuckles the other day and finally got around to getting them mounted. Overall I am quite pleased with them. Especially since I am now working on a Unimog body. Pictures below. Carl |

Those look pretty cool. Definitely different. Do the portals change the overall width of the tires when on the axle? I am tempted to try a set but I don't want the truck any wider than it already is. Also, do they affect the steering radius at all? I am just wondering if they improve the steering or if it is the same or worse. Thanks! |

The portals have a 10 tooth and 16 tooth gear inside so you get a 1.6:1 gear reduction. It also reverses the direction because of the design so I just swapped my motor leads to keep everything moving the same direction. I think the overall width increased may be 12mm. Not that much. Ground clearance increases maybe a 15mm. I don't think the steering is quite as tight as the stock setup but will do another check later tonight. The portals come with o-rings that are placed inside the drive cup. This is like what the Berg axles do. I think the portals need them to keep the cups tight against the axles. In other words, to keep the dogbones tight so they don't slip out during turns. However, right now I am running mine without the o-rings and don't appear to be having any problems. Hope this helps.
