Default CR-01 questions...

I did some searching but didn't really find the answers I need....

Well, even though I think the Axial SCX-10 makes more sense (and is cheaper) I really like the look of the CR-01. I'm wanting a 2.2 or tall 1.9 tired all purpose crawler/trials/trail truck. I been driving a Junfac Tracer/TLT 2.2 truck for a few years. It's been very modded and I've been quite happy with it. But, it is a royal pain to dissasemble for cleaning and maintanance. I drive a lot in water and mud, rocks etc. So ease of maintanance is important. I also like having the motor and battery etc up higher to avoid water.

1.So, how easy is the CR-01 to clean?
2.Anyone use the Pro-Line Ambush CGR body on the CR-01?
3.What is the range of adjust to the wheelbase with the stock set-up?

I'm sure I'll have more questions, thanks for your input!

I love my CR-01 but il have to sat that the cr-01 axles will not come apart as easy as a set of axial axles. I would have to say the axial would be easyer to clean but Ill still take a CR-01 over any axial. This is just my thoughts

Why clean it? I just let the mud harden then break off the big pieces. If I want it any cleaner then I just drive thru some clean puddles. I like my trucks to look used tho...

I have had a SCX-10 and i now have a CR01 and i would have to if u are wanting TALL tired scaler go with the CR01 i did like my axial but the CR01 i like better it is just so much more versitale the coil spring suspension works great the axial shocks suck..The CR01 already has the 7 cell batt tray in the front and works great..But it is a matter of what u like and what u can afford..
