Default Picked up a CR-01!

I am excited to get the Cr-01 Land Cruiser! Picked it up off ebay for a really really good deal! In the midst of the excitement, I am thinking how I'm going to mod it.

I've seen it done before, but does anyone have a step-by-step instruction sheet on how to shorten the wheelbase? I would like the truck to look as scale as possible.

Also, how do you take off the cantilevers and what do you replace them with?

You can replace the cantilevers with a set of standard shocks & springs, probably in the 90-100mm range. Shortening the wheelbase would just require you to cut the links shorter. There are planty of holes in the frame rails to move the suspension forward or back if you plan on using a standard shock set up.
