Default CR01 "C"s

Hey guys, I keep ripping the front "C"s (uprites)off the Cr01 axles, which both breaks the Cs ,and pulls the screws themselves out of the axles and stuffs the threads. The end travel is not set to high, steering is crap, just happens when the wheels get in a bind.

So do the alloy aftermarket Cs do this?,,i think the tamiya plastic is to soft, and they are a sloppy fit on the end of the axle, which is the problem.

Thanks

When i get the front wheels in a bind and give it a bit of throttle ,it goes "snap", but i do drive it hard. Infact ive replaced the entire front diff internals in a year and a half.
Maybe i should just replace the diffs with axial diffs.

Not to be an azz....but maybe a better solution would be to stop trying to throttle out of hard binds like that....don't think I want to know what the gears in your trans look like.

Ive had my cr01 since the day they were released and have yet to have any breakage on this scale even after a 50ft tumble down an embankment onto rock

I think your right NATE, i do give it sh[t sometimes . The trans gears are fine , i pulled it apart recently and regreased the gears.
Maybe i should treat a bit nicer, not!

Thanks tho.

It doesnt snap the Cs,it pulls them off the screws. The Cs split where the screws go through into the axle housing, and pulls the screws out of the axle housing itself ,stuffing the threads.

Could be my wheeling though
